KETTERING — Kettering Health Network has confirmed that a male in his early 60s tested positive for the coronavirus.

The man was taken to Kettering Medical center March 14 where he was met outside of the emergency department and escorted to a negative pressure room to avoid exposure to others in the emergency department, according to a release.
After staying in the hospital for one night, the man was discharged and considered to be in good condition.

He was tested for the virus while in the hospital and the results came back positive for COVID-19 today.
The hospital has given him instructions to self-isolate.
Kettering Health Network officials say they will give further details Thursday.
