COVID-19 Healthcare Community Health Network CEO tests positive for COVID-19 Daniel Bradley 1:07 - WRTV Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — Community Health Network president and CEO Bryan Mills said Monday that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

Mills said on Twitter he is self-quarantining and following the advice of doctors, but he will remain active virtually in leading Community Health's pandemic response.

"Thank you to the caregivers helping me and so many across the state right now. I’ve said it before - and I’ll say it again - you’re my heroes," Mills tweeted.

A news release from Community Health Network said Mills was symptomatic and was tested before learning of his diagnosis over the weekend. He continues to participate in meetings remotely, receive updates and lead decision-making processes.

If necessary, there are plans to delegate his responsibilities to other leaders within Community Health Network.

At least 259 Hoosiers have been diagnosed with the coronavirus, and more than 2,000 have been tested, according to statistics from the Indiana State Department of Health.
