The Schedule: LSU's SEC Network Takeover - 247Sports

The SEC Network is airing takeovers for college football teams in the conference, and the LSU Tigers were up on Sunday, March 22 for an entire day of purple-and-gold sports.

At 12:00 AM EST, the 17-part takeover kicked off with arguably the biggest football game of the 2019 season in LSU vs. Alabama, with the Tigers winning in Tuscaloosa and grabbing a victory over the Tide for the first time since 2011.

The SEC Championship win for LSU over Georgia will air at 1:30 p.m. EST on the SEC Network, with an inside look from the SEC Championship to follow.

The final showing of the takeover is LSU's win over Clemson in the National Championship Game from January, which will air at 8:30 p.m. EST. The SEC Inside showing of the CFP National Championship Special is set to follow at 11:30.

There will also be seven straight SEC Storied episodes aired during the LSU takeover, beginning with "The Bo You Don't Know" at 2:30 a.m. and ending with "Shaq and Dale" at 6:00 a.m.

The takeover on the network comes after the cancellation of all remaining winter and spring sports by the NCAA as official continue to monitor the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the spread of the disease across the country.

The SEC has announced that all regular season conference and non-conference competitions are cancelled for the remainder of the 2019-20 athletic year, including all remaining SEC championship events, due to continuing developments related to the coronavirus (COVID-19). In addition, all spring football games are cancelled and there will be no pro days conducted by SEC institutions.

Other athletics activities, including team and individual practices, meetings and other organized gatherings, whether required or voluntary, remain suspended through at least April 15.
