Online courses to equip businesses in Orihuela for a digital future have been hailed a rounding success.
FIFTY traders and entrepreneurs have taken part in the first conferences organised by the town’s Chamber of Commerce aimed at the commercial sector.
President, Mario Martinez, explained attendees are given initial training in ‘Whatsapp Business and Google MyBusiness, basic tools for digitising your business’.
A second conference is entitled ‘How to catch your customer on the Internet and not let go’.
Martinez said: “After the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, it’s important to provide training, workshops and courses through digital platforms.
“Anything which helps to advance and improve must be welcomed and we are committed to supporting young people and businesses and will continue training both in person and online.”
