Worried about kids staying healthy as they head back to school, along with the community, as COVID-19 remains top of mind?

On Friday, Gatekeeper Systems Inc. (TSX-V: GSI, OTC: GKPRF, Forum) announced that it had contracted by a school district in the US to equip approximately 40 of their schools with Intelligent Temperature Sensing Systems (ITSS) that will measure the body temperature of students before entering schools.

With approximately 130,000 schools and 500,000 school buses in the US alone, Gatekeeper’s Chief Executive Officer, Doug Dyment, called this an added opportunity for the Company.

“We continue to be in dialogue with our school district customers to offer helpful solutions as they manage through this pandemic, and we are proud to launch ITSS as the industry's best temperature sensing solution for school districts, school buildings, and transit authorities.”

A leading provider of intelligent video solutions for public transport and smart cities, GSI recently launched its ITSS, an infrared body temperature sensor system that incorporates a smart panel, thermal imaging and artificial intelligence to quickly and accurately measure the body temperature of passengers who board school buses and public transportation vehicles, as well as buildings.

FULL DISCLOSURE: Gatekeeper Systems Inc. is a client of Stockhouse Publishing.
