LOUISVILLE, Ky. (KT) – The second week of the EQUIP training classes starts Monday night with online sessions on women’s ministry, Sunday School leadership and security.

The EQUIP training sessions went well in the first week of the online format, designed to help Kentucky Baptist churches navigate through a challenging season of ministry because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

First week sessions were well attended with participants able to register for multiple events. The valuable training sessions, set up through the Kentucky Baptist Convention, are free.

Several sessions remain with EQUIP going through Sept. 3, including sessions Monday, Tuesday and Thursday this week.

“EQUIP is a great opportunity for those who serve in a wide variety of ways to learn new skills and be refreshed in old ones for fulfilling the work the Lord has given them to do,” said KBC Executive Director-Treasurer Todd Gray. “Those of us who serve Jesus by serving His local church must continually be equipped and refreshed for better, more effective, service.”
