While this scorestreak might not be as useful in heavily interior maps, in the outside maps, it can be a gamechanger. Plus it's just a fun scorestreak to earn since it lets you lay waste to a big chunk of the map.
3 Cruise Missile
The cruise missile scorestreak might just be one of the most fun streaks to earn in Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War. Coming in at 2,600 points, this streak will take some dedication and hard work to earn in a match. It's a great scorestreak to have because it's simply a blast to use.
The cruise missile is a player-controlled streak that shoots out a break apart large missiles, with smaller ones being used to lock on to opponents in order to decimate them. When used properly, you can wipe out a whole enemy team, especially in objective modes where players tend to be grouped up.

The care package is a scorestreak that has been around each iteration of Call of Duty for many years. Earnable at 1,800 points, most new players should be able to get their hands on it in most matches. The best part about the care package is that it sends down a random scorestreak for the player to use. The downside is also that it's random, but, all scorestreaks provide some advantage.
The reason for this care package being good for new players is that it lets you try out an array of streaks from the best of the best to the most simple. The worst feeling in a match is when you equip a high-level scorestreak, finally get it, then use it incorrectly. The care package is a nice surprise because you can earn any of the scorestreaks on offer.

Easily the best scorestreak for new players to Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War is the ubiquitous spy plane, attainable at 1,000 points. This scorestreak is a fan favorite, not just because of how easy it can be to earn, but because of how useful it is for the entire team.
The spy plane flies overhead and points out enemy targets on your radar. Your radar is essential for enemy positioning, especially in objective matches. While the spy plane can be shot down simply enough, when used at the right time, it can give your whole team a positioning-based advantage.
