Men's Lacrosse vs. Syracuse 3/25/21
Duke's matchup against the Orange had it all. From high level offensive plays from both the Blue Devils and Orange to a superb defensive stand in the final seven minutes by Duke, the Blue Devils ultimately held off Syracuse's second-half push for their first ACC win of 2021. Duke goaltender Mike Adler made 10 save with the 10th coming in the final second of the game to secure the win.

Men's Lacrosse vs. North Carolina 4/1/21
Duke and North Carolina met as the respective No. 1 and No 2 teams in the country for the first time in the storied rivalry and did not disappoint. The instant classic featured five ties, but only one lead change and the name on everyone's mind at the end was Joe Robertson as he finished the night with four goals and seven points, including the unbelievable overtime winner. Adler anchored the defensive effort with 17 saves.

Women's Basketball vs. Longwood 11/25/20
The "KaraEra" of Duke women's basketball officially started Nov. 25, 2020 as the Blue Devils turned in an impressive, 94-64, victory over Longwood in Cameron Indoor Stadium.  Blue Devil head coach Kara Lawson, who was hired at Duke in July, coached her first collegiate contest in front of zero fans and media due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Blue Devils were paced by sophomore Jaida Patrick, who collected a career-high 21 points to go along with seven rebounds and five assists.  Junior Onome Akinbode-James added her third collegiate double-double with career highs of 15 points and 16 rebounds.

Football vs. Syracuse 10/10/20
The Blue Devils earned their first win of the season after the running back duo of senior Deon Jackson and junior Mataeo Durant combined for 332 yards rushing and two scores to lead Duke past Syracuse, 38-24. The Blue Devils outscored the Orange in every quarter besides the third where Syracuse held the 7-6 edge. Duke recorded 645 yards of total offense, marking the first time since November 11, 2018 against North Carolina in which Duke saw 600-plus yards of offense. The Blue Devils registered 416 of those total yards in the first half alone, marking the most yards put up in an opening half during the David Cutcliffe era. In total, Duke's run game was on display as the Blue Devils tallied 363 rushing yards, the third-most in a single game under Cutcliffe. Jackson and Durant paced the Blue Devil offense as both totaled career high yards of 169 and 163, respectively. This marked the first time since the 2015 Pinstripe Bowl in which Duke had two players with 100-plus rushing yards and was the first time in the Cutcliffe era that Duke had two players with 150-plus rushing yards.

Men's Lacrosse vs. Virginia 4/15/21
Traveling to Charlottesville for the lone matchup with the Cavaliers, Duke again came through in overtime with a goal from the one and only Joe Robertson. Duke, trailing 12-10 with 14:24 left in the fourth quarter, went on lockdown mode defensively and held Virginia scoreless the rest of the way. Meanwhile, on offense rookie Brennan O'Neill and junior Garrett Leadmon scored to force overtime and let Robertson do his thing.

Men's Basketball vs. Virginia 2/20/21
Freshman Jaemyn Brakefield scored the go-ahead basket on a reverse layup with 1:58 left and Duke came up with a final-possession stop to beat No. 7 Virginia, 66-65, in a thriller at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Men's Basketball vs. Louisville 3/10/21
Freshman Mark Williams had a career-high 23 points and 19 rebounds, while sophomore Matthew Hurt added 20 points as Duke beat Louisville, 70-56, in the ACC Tournament Second Round at the Greensboro Coliseum.

Men's Lacrosse vs. Notre Dame 4/22/21
The rematch in Durham with the Irish was one of the best comebacks in Duke lacrosse history. After struggling offensively for three quarters, Duke trailed 12-7 with 8:41 to play in the fourth quarter. Then the Blue Devil veterans took over. Senior Nakeie Montgomery scored twice, while junior Owen Caputo sandwiched a goal in between, to make it 12-10. With less than a minute to play it became the Michael Sowers show as the graduate student scored two incredible goals 20 seconds apart, including the tying goal with 14 seconds left to force overtime. And, there was a play involving a shoe for Notre Dame that can't be forgotten. In overtime, it was the unlikely heroics of Cameron Mulé coming off the bench for the first time in the game on man-up to score off a Sowers pass and keep Duke undefeated at home in 2021.
