5 Food Network Stars to follow on social media for some of the best cooking and baking tips - Guilty Eats

The Food Network definitely can be considered the gift that keeps on giving. With so many shows to choose from, inspiration is waiting for you right around the end of every hour. If it isn’t the competition shows, then it’s the cooking shows. Regardless, there’s something for everyone when looking for inspiration and recipes.

But what of social media? Who from the Food Network is the best to seek out on Instagram or Twitter?

You’d be surprised to see who has the most interesting Instagram posts. When it comes to foodies, there’s nothing like a perfectly mounted plate, the vibrant colors showing through on Instagram. And when it comes to the following chefs, they don’t disappoint in the recipe department either.

So get your phones out, if you’re not reading this on them already, and get ready to follow some chefs for some epic meal ideas and beautiful food images.

5 Food Network stars to follow on social media now

Alex Guarnaschelli

Executive chef of Butter, and Iron Chef, Alex Guarnaschelli is no stranger to the Food Network audience. She serves as judge on Chopped and is always ready to support the underdog and scathe the conceited contestant. Her input is priceless and if listened to, she’ll usually lead the contestants to victory.

Her Instagram is a veritable treasure trove of recipes and images that’ll inspire you to learn the recipe and snap pictures of your own and share them with your followers.

Anyone up for some cornbread?

Michael Symon

Michael Symon needs no introduction to foodies, as he’s been seen on the network since the very first run of Iron Chef America or thereabouts. The Thanksgiving battles alone are memorable—the ones he participated in—and his input on The Chew (which albeit wasn’t the food network, but still a show worthy of some attention and note), was indeed priceless, especially his 5 in 5 segments.

I myself learned a few quick and easy recipes. Trust me, when you’ve got a deadline looming, your editor calling and calling, you don’t have hours and hours to braise short-ribs my friends. At times like that, 5 in 5 recipes are indeed priceless things to have, and we’ve got Symon to thank for that.

He’s appeared on the Food Network in Burgers Brew & ’Que, The Best Thing I Ever Ate and of course, BBQ Brawl.

Molly Yeh

Opposed to the other four on this list, Yeh certainly wasn’t a chef first. Interestingly enough, she went to Julliard and studied music. But her love for food led her to writing about her passion. Shortly after she released her first book: Molly on the Range: Recipes and Stories from An Unlikely Life on a Farm, she was set to star in her very own Food Network show: Girl Meets Farm.

He Instagram is chock full of interesting recipes and images as swell.

Bobby Flay

Like Symon, this man needs no introduction to foodies. Like in wrestling, do we need to tell you who Hulk Hogan is? Probably not, or at least I hope not.

Or maybe in music…do we really need to tell you who Lady Gaga is. Even if you’re not into pop R&B, you should know who she is. Heck, I even know who she is and my blood type is AC/DC.

Regardless, his accomplishments aside, Flay inspires every day with an Instagram feed that is full of gifts and inspiration.

Amanda Freitag

And our last entry, and certainly not least, is Amanda Freitag…the chef with the infectious smile and warm disposition. I try to see her being stern in the kitchen and really have a hard time doing so.

She seems like she would have been awesome to work for in the pro kitchen. Her smile isn’t the only thing you’ll see on her Instagram though. Her impeccable recipes and knowledge of the culinary world are also on display.

Which chefs do you follow on Social Media? Any recipes you want to share?
