Personalizing your character is a significant feature in most games, and Deathloop is no different. There are 26 total Outfits in Deathloop, allowing you to find the style of Colt or Julianna you like. However, you will have to do specific things to unlock these Outfits as they do not come naturally in the main story.
Unlocking every Outfit in Deathloop can take quite some time to accomplish but is easily doable with enough commitment, some patience, and probably some luck thrown into the mix. The good news, though, is that unlocking Outfits in Deathloop is as straightforward as it gets, which is relieving considering some of the puzzles can be challenging.
Unlocking Outfits
Outfits in Deathloop get unlocked by Protecting The Loop as Julianna, which means you must access the game's online portion if you haven't done so already. Unlocking Outfits requires you to level up Julianna's Hunter Rank, which will reward you with many things, including Outfits for her and Colt.
However, the unfortunate news is there is no way of telling what you may pull from each level as it is seemingly random. So, as for now, there is no hard number or rough estimate for how long it will take to obtain every Outfit in Deathloop. While having to play online to earn Outfits can be frustrating for many players, there are ways you can set yourself up for success when hunting Colt.
Additionally, there are two other ways to obtain Outfits in Deathloop. One method is via the game's Deluxe Edition, including Colt's "Party Crasher Skin" and Julianna's "Sharp Shooter Skin." The other method is by linking your Bethesda Account with Deathloop and joining Arkane's Outsiders Community Program, which nets you Colt's "Eternalist skin."
How To Equip Outfits
Equipping Outfits in Deathloop is different for each character and must be done before starting a mission or invasion. Accessing the "Break The Loop" menu will allow you to view the number of skins for both Colt and Julianna.
In Deathloop, Colt has 14 Outfits, while Julianna has 12 Outfits (including their default Outfits). Below is a step-by-step guide on how to equip Outfits for each character in Deathloop. Changing your Outfit will also show up when being invaded by other players or when you invade them, which is an excellent way to show off your accomplishments.
Julianna
- From the main menu of Deathloop, select "Protect The Loop."
- From there, hover over Julianna's model.
- You will see a prompt that says "CHANGE OUTFIT," hit the corresponding button beside it (X on PlayStation)
