Find out which Columbus burger spot Food Network star Alton Brown recently raved about - 614NOW

Here in Columbus, we know we have a robust food scene. But it still feels good to get some external validation from time to time.

And recently, one Columbus eatery got some love from a major name in the food world.

Alton Brown, the host of Food Network shows like “Good Eats”, “Iron Chef America”, “Cutthroat Kitchen” and many more recently visited Columbus, and he had good things to say about it.

Last week, Brown made a stop at Ringside Cafe, a popular downtown tavern and restaurant, to grab a burger. And he was a fan, apparently.

“Best burger in a long time,” Brown said in an Instagram post at the eatery that displayed a photo of his food.

Ringside Cafe is located at 19 N. Pearl St., just north of the Ohio Statehouse.

It’s unclear which burger Brown went for, but Ringside offers a variety of options, including Cajun and BBQ, each one named after a famous boxer.
