Some Newport County businesses are expressing frustration after several lost Cox internet and phone service.
Felecia Landers, owner of the Roasted Clove, says it's been severely impacting her business.
"No internet connection, this is usually full of orders."
Landers said she's been without Cox internet at the Roasted Clove since Thursday.
So far, the company can only say they're "working on the issue"
"I got a text at midnight last night saying it was fixed," said Landers. "So I came in this morning and I still don't have internet and I sat on the phone with them for about an hour on the phone and now they have to send someone out to fix at my business."
But Landers tells us that won't be until Monday and the time is costing her Middletown business money.
No internet means she can't load gift cards for customers, use delivery services like DoorDash, or take online orders.
"A third of our business is DoorDash, more than half of it is online ordering," said Landers.
With the holidays here, Landers said she can't see what type of catering orders are in the system until she gets service back.
She said Cox offered to reimburse her the price of service on the days she lost out on, but she said that doesn't help make up for lost business.
NBC 10 reached out to Cox for a comment but hasn't heard back.
