In cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Sixth of October Development & Investment Company “SODIC”, the leading Egyptian real estate developer equips three public hospitals to receive more COVID19 patients.
In coordination with the ministry, SODIC commissioned 50 fully equipped portable quarantine units for the Abbassia Fever Hospital and Mansoura Chest Hospital in addition to equipping 21 hospital rooms in Mahala Fever Hospital to serve as complete isolation units.
The company had previously announced its multi-tiered approach in contributing to the cause which entailed redirecting all marketing resources to creating awareness about the virus, donating ventilators and monitors to Sheikh Zayed Specialized Hospital, Sheikh Zayed General Hospital and Imbaba General Hospital, better equipping them to receive COVID19 patients. SODIC also distributed over 1,500 protection packages in Ezebt Khairallah, providing the community with immunity boosters, sanitization material and hygiene instructions.
