Aaron Judge, Julio Rodriguez, Mike Trout … TJ Friedl.
The Cincinnati fan favorite center fielder, signed by the Reds in 2016 as an undrafted free agent and left exposed in the Rule 5 Draft as recently as three years ago, made his debut Thursday in MLB Network's "Top 10 Right Now" for center fielders, according to both "the Shredder" and the fan list.
Friedl was No. 9 on both lists.
Among Reds with at least 200 plate appearances this past season, Friedl's .279 batting average trailed only Matt McLain's .290. Only Elly De La Cruz had more stolen bases (35) than Friedl's 27. And only Spencer Steer had more RBIs (86) than Friedl's 66.
